Olympic alpine skier Yina Moe-Lange has a Microsoft dad

One of the youngest Olympians who will compete in Vancouver, Yina Moe-Lange, is the daughter of a Microsoft employee.
Her dad, Danny Lange, is a principal architect at Microsoft's Startup Business Group in Redmond and the family lives in Sammamish.
Although Moe-Lange has lived in the U.S. since she was 4 years old, she will be competing for Denmark in alpine skiing. The 16-year-old is scheduled to be in the slalom and giant slalom events at Whistler on Feb. 24 and 26, but she does not expect to medal in these games. Her father said the Danish team picked her because they see the potential for her to medal in at the 2014 Winter Olympic games, according to a Microsoft news release.
"When she’s skiing downhill, she’ll hit speeds beyond 70 miles per hour. It’s faster than you go on the freeway, and there’s no seatbelt," her dad said in the release.
