Microsoftie's daughter, 16, skis in Winter Olympics

Not many people around the Seattle area know of one local Olympian, Yina Moe-Lange. Perhaps because she's actually skiing for Denmark. Or perhaps because she has finished near the rear of the pack.
But the employees of Microsoft's Startup Business Group surely know who Moe-Lange is. She's the 16-year-old daughter of the team's principal architect Danny Lange.
"It's definitely amazing being here already and, like, being able to ski here," Moe-Lange said in an interview with media Wednesday in Whistler, B.C. "I used to be one of those who sat at home and, like, 'Oh my God, I want to be there one day.' That one day has come!
"So, hopefully there's more of those to come, too."
The Sammamish resident and Skyline High School junior trains with Team Alpental Snoqualmie, but is eligible to compete for Denmark because her parents are Danish. In fact, her mother, Eva Moe, is a Danish diplomat – Moe-Lange was born in 1993 in Tokyo.
